Announcing the Scholars' Lab
The Library's newest high-tech space for study and research is now open, just around the corner from Alderman Cafe. Offering 4,000 square feet of new public space, the Scholars' Lab has comfortable and flexible seating, spaces to work on collaborative projects, high-end computer workstations, scanning equipment, and specialized software for OCR, text manipulation, GIS, and statistical analysis. Combining the services of the Library's Etext and GeoStat Centers and ITC's Research Computing Support Center, the Scholars' Lab staff can assist you in many areas of digital scholarship.
