EText Center Collections Moving to New Site

We're in the process of moving digital collections created by the EText Center from this site to the U.Va. Library's digital collections site. Many of the former Etext Center collections can be found via the links here, but others before they are migrated will still remain in their old location.

In addition to collections formerly hosted by the EText Center, the new Digital Collections site also lets you search images and texts from other digital projects at the U.Va. Library, as well as "Finding Aids" that describe manuscripts and archives in our special collections library.

The staff expertise formerly shared through the EText Center, including text encoding consultations, text and image scanning tutorials, and help with digital projects, can now be found at the Scholars’ Lab. Located on the main floor of Alderman Library, the Scholars’ Lab has high-end computer workstations and monitors, scanning equipment, and specialized software for OCR, PDF creation, and image editing.
